Kim and Steve had both been off and on Match.com looking for someone to share their lives with and had no luck. Their friends Terrie and John pushed them to give it another go on the dating website… and that was all they needed to find one another. Although it wasn’t love at first sight, Kim continued dating even after their first date, apparently she was very popular on Match.com. But that isn’t hard to believe, her smile is contagious. Kim winked first, although Steve thinks Terrie may have pushed her to do so. The two kept dating and Kim decided to remove herself from Match.com, but not until she had her company’s attorney clear Steve’s background. I mean, it’s 2018 ladies…let’s not pretend we don’t do this. Photo Courtesy of Bliss Eleven

After 7 years of dating Steve proposed on the beach in Naples on the couples favorite beach, Vanderbilt Beach {where they attended their first vacation together}, at sunset… pause for swooning…. Flashback to their first vacay on Vanderbilt… Steve was in the lobby waiting for Kim to finish getting ready. She came down to find him “ready to go” wearing a nice dress shirt, shorts, and sandals…WITH BLACK KNEE HIGH SOCKS! You know she is thinking ‘what the what?’ and ready to retreat back to her room. Luckily Steve was joking with her and did not actually wear that out of the hotel. But how cute is it that Steve wore some fun socks on their wedding day; which I bet gave them a flashback to this moment.

Speaking of details… this wedding was sprinkled with personal ones throughout. And in our opinion, there is nothing better than personal touches to make your big day all about what is important to you! For starters, Kim’s stunning custom gown was a wedding gift from her sister, Debbie Rudawsky. Kim’s style came from Debbie’s bridal store Town & Country Bridal Boutique. The sisters even wore matching heels. What a lovely way to share their bond on the day Kim is sealing her bond with her new hubby.

Steve and Kim focused on details that highlighted their relationship too, of course! We think it’s amazing to personalize your big day with things that make you each who you are. Dinner courses were served between dance breaks, a martini bar was available for guests {martinis are Kim’s fav}, matchbooks reminded us that the two of them are a perfect match {.com}, and their tables were adorned with gold components.

But you guys… it doesn’t end there. You see the napkins in the bowtie fold above? Wait for it… this 20 year old cat Rufus is wearing a matching bowtie. Kim’s cat had to be a part of her big day of course, he got dolled up for the occasion too with his amazing cattoo {is that not the coolest thing you’ve ever seen}?

The getaway car was obviously going to be amazing. You see, Kim is one of the owners of a local luxury transportation company Best Transportation.

My goodness, we just love Kim, Steve, Rufus, Debbie, this whole family so much! Sign Sealed Delivered Events had the pleasure of planning Debbie’s daughter Shannon’s wedding in September of 2016. So as happy as we are that Kim and Steve had this amazing wedding day with each other, we’re sad that our time with this lovely family has come to end. Although, let’s be real… we’ve definitely made some forever friends!
