Hello hello! We are back again to celebrate the second half of our fabulous 2018 wedding season! It’s funny that a lot of people call it a season because to us it’s an all year round gig which we LOVE. Every season is wedding season for us!! So let’s jump back into September!

By the way, fun fact ‘September‘ by Earth Wind and Fire is one of my top ten fave songs! We say it’s a must for every wedding reception!

“Hey hey hey
Ba de ya, say do you remember
Ba de ya, dancing in September ”

CHRIS & AMANDA

Our second Labor Day weekend wedding was Chris and Amanda’s hosted at the History Museum at Forest Park.

Ophelia, their puppy, was admittedly a show stopper at this splendid affair but even more so was Amanda during her first look with Chris.

Their ceremony was performed by a long time family friend and afterwards guests went outside for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while the vendor crew flipped the space into a romantic candle lit reception.

That dream come true is credited to An Affair to Remember, Butler’s Pantry, The Cakery and Push the Limit Band.

KATIE & BRYAN

Katie and Bryan have a wonderful love story! They met on spring break in college, which she would later confess to her parents. We adored working with this sweet couple and their wonderful family from picking out their reception venue to designing invitations and decor to sharing cheeseburgers at our final meeting before the big day.

Our favorite part of the day was watching Katie and Bryan and their parents first look of the ballroom at the Four Points right before the doors opened for the reception to begin. They were so in awe and happy! We can’t blame them- it was totally gorgeous! Another amazing collaboration with Grand Rental Station Fairview Heights and Grimm and Gorly Florist.

MEGAN & JOSH

Megan and Josh said forever at a gorgeous September ceremony at the Weingarten in Belleville followed by a reception at the Hecker Dome. We loved working with Grand Rental Station Fairview Heights and Bountiful Blossoms to bring Megan’s dream wedding to life.

Our favorite part of the day was Megan and her bridesmaids dancing to Wilson Phillips “Hold On” at the reception after spending their day quoting the movie Bridesmaids. This group of besties had us laughing so hard. And we loved that Arndt captured this magic!

Megan and Josh live on a farm, also one of Megan’s dreams, with their two beautiful babes Lucy and Carson and are welcoming their 3rd bundle of joy this coming summer! We can’t wait!

MANDA & RUDY

We worked with Manda and Rudy for 18 months planning their destination wedding on Manda’s family farm in Barry, IL. What was really amazing about this wedding is that our vendor team basically built a venue from the ground up, bringing everything from tables, chairs, tent walls to dance floor, electric and water.

I was so proud of our team for every ounce of love and hard work they put into this nonstop two day celebration in central Illinois. We were so thrilled to work alongside our friends with The Wandering Side Car Bar, CJ’s DJs, The Rowlands, Emily Miller Make up and Hair and Wildflowers.

LAURA & TYLER

I don’t think we have ever laughed this hard at wedding meetings! Laura is one of the funniest gals we’ve ever met and working with her and her mom Leanne was an absolute treat! What made this wedding even more special is that we coordiated Laura’s sister’s wedding a few years ago and we just love a family reunion!

Laura and Tyler celebrated their love at The Clayton Plaza Hotel on a perfect October day.

MEGAN & GABE

Megan and Gabe are quite possibly the most classic looking bride and groom! We couldn’t decide whether we liked their black and white photos or color ones best! Either way Jacoby Photo and Design had us oooing and ahhhing through their whole album!

They chose a snowy November weekend to say their vows surrounded in a traditional and always a favorite white, gold and greenery color palate. Thanks to the ladies at An Affair to Remember for bringing their dream to life!

HOLLY & JOHN

Holly’s smile on wedding day was like none other we’ve ever seen. Molly Elizabeth Photography captured every ounce of their day so perfectly we want to redo the whole day over!

We met Holly a few months before her big day and jumped right in bringing her vision to life. Thanks to the help of Eckert Florist and Weinhardt Party Rentals, we transformed the Pour Vineyard into a pastel candlit dream and Holly and John and their guests danced the afternoon away to McMusic DJ!

GRACE & ALEX

Oscar and Layla because for dog lovers your wedding day is not complete unless your furbabes are there with you!

Grace and Alex said their “I do’s” at College Church, which is the same place her parents got hitched. Then they partied the night away at the Palladium dancing to Fat Pocket which is hands down our new fave band! We had the best time transforming the space with our gal pals at Belli Fiori for this wintry wedding day!

BRIANNA & DOM

Brianna and Dom are one of the sweetest couples we’ve ever worked with. These two met in high school- he was on the football team, she was a cheerleader. He went to school to be a doctor and she a nurse. Together they went on mission trips to make a difference in this world. And their wedding was nothing short of a fairy tale! On December 29th we met our friends from Petal Pushers, Ces and Judy’s Catering and Millennium Productions at Silver Oaks Chateau to create an unforgettable ceremony and reception. We can’t wait to see all the images from this splendid day but until then here’s a sneak peak from North Lens Photography!
